With Love and Sympathy
It is sad to announce the passing of Noah Belton, 18, of Reidsville, NC on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at his home. Born November 30, 1999, to Tracy Johnson Nettle and Glenn Belton, Noah was a junior at Rockingham High School and carpenter for Absolute Home Repair. He also attended the Rockingham Fire Academy to train as a volunteer firefighter.
Noah was an avid fisherman and loved to squirrel hunt. In his short lifetime, any day of the week, rain or shine, Noah and his friends would find a place to fish. Noah had many goals set for his future life. He wanted to work for Duke Energy as a lineman. He planned to go to Forsyth Tech to extend his education; Noah wanted to be successful and provide strong support for his own family one day. He always smiled and joked about anything with his friends and family. He made everyone laugh. Noah loved his mom, Tracy Nettles, and his step-dad, Patrick Nettles. He has left many family and friends behind, many who still remember Noah’s fondness for assigning nicknames to everyone he met. Noah regularly attended church in Reidsville and will be missed by anyone who had met him.
Surviving are Noah’s parents, Tracy Johnson (Patrick) Nettles of the home and Glenn (Karen) Belton of Reidsville; his two sisters, Samantha Pegram of Myrtle Beach, SC and Hannah Talton of Greensboro; his two step-brothers, James “Jimmy” Piper Jr and Joshua Piper of Reidsville, his step-grandparents Richard (Marcia) Jenkins of Brown Summit, Annie Nettles of Pittsboro, and the late Richard Junior Nettles. Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Harold (Debra) Belton of Brown Summit; his maternal grandparents, Betty Jo Wilson of Greensboro and the late Lynn Johnson; his aunt, Tammy Fryar of Gibsonville; his nephew Lethon “L.J.” Tucker and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held 7:00-8:30 pm, Monday, March 26, 2018, at Harrelson Funeral Services Chapel and other times at the home. Services will be held 11 am Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Harrelson Funeral Services Chapel followed by interment at Chatham Memorial Park in Siler City.
Memorials can be sent to the Nettles/Belton family c/o Harrelson Funeral Services, PO Box 1360 Yanceyville, NC.
Harrelson Funeral Services is privileged to be serving the Nettles and Belton family.

To the Family of Noah, I am truly sorry to hear of your tragic loss. Losing a loved one in death is always painful, but even more so when it is such a young life. The Bible promises a time in the very near future when we will never lose anyone in death again, and there will be no more pain or suffering. Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
