Ronald Wayne McCann, 68, passed away suddenly on September 12, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center. Born in Caswell  County, he was the son of the late Ernest Clay McCann and Ocran Virginia Wood McCann. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Purgason McCann; four brothers, Eldridge McCann, Donald McCann, Haywood McCann and Roger McCann; one sister, Margie McCann; and one step granddaughter, Stephanie Wilson.

Mr. McCann was known for his outpouring of love of children and he never met a stranger. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved to go board and deer hunting with his special and dear friend Pete from Florida. Mr. McCann was also a huge NASCAR fan. He was a retired electrician and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. McCann is survived by his wife Pam Larrimore McCann of the home; three stepsons, George Wilson (Susan), Larry Godsey (Teresa), and Jason Sain (Kim); two stepdaughters, Tammy W. Whitmire (Tib), Karen G. Lewis (Scott); two sisters, Billie Jean Tabora (Marvin) and Opal Powell (Barham); one brother, J.W. McCann (Sylvia); two sister in-laws, Shirley McCann and Melissa McCann; seven step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later time.
