PROVIDENCE

Lelia Worley Barker, 75 of 481 Bill Smith Road, died peacefully surrounded by her family Monday evening, June 11, 2018 at her home.  Born in Caswell County daughter of the late Joseph "Joe" Worley & the late Rosa Purnell Worley; in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Roderick Worley, Julius Worley, Nathan Worley and one sister Glenda Adams.  Mrs. Barker was a homemaker and a member of Community Baptist Church and also attended Shady Oak Baptist Church.

Surviving are her loving husband of over fifty-eight years Yancey Lee Barker, Sr. of the home; one son Yancey "Lee" Barker, Jr. & wife Sandra of Providence; three brothers Al Worley & wife Faye of Brown Summit, Carlton Worley & wife Peggy of Purley, David Worley of Purley; two grandchildren Matthew Barker & Halee Barker.

Pallbearers will be Benny Crumpton - Steve Barker - Steve Wray - Junior Worley - Kenny Wilson- Dwayne Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Barker and Halee Barker.

Graveside Rites will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Community Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Mitch Cifers & Rev. Kenneth Hammock.  The family will receive friends prior to the Service (12:30 PM  till 1:30 PM) Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Community Baptist Church and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Providence Volunteer Fire & Rescue P. O. Box 93, Providence, NC - 27315
