Bobbie Jean Pruitt Bond, 48, 2313 Red Marshall Rd., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 12, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Pruitt and Della Stephens Pruitt, whom survives.  

Mrs. Bond was a loving mother, grandmother and wife. She loved spending time with her family. She loved the family beach trips, cooking, holidays (especially Christmas), cooking and DIY shows, sewing, playing games with family and reading Daniel Steel books.      

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Charles Bond of the home; two daughters, Crystal Bond (Michael) of Ruffin and Tiffany Bond of Pelham; three sisters, Eunice Gurgle, Elizabeth Kapplin and Cathy Bowling; one brother Matthew of St. Clair; one grandson, her special little man, Jonathan Murphy; and her dog Snuggles whom she loved dearly.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

My heart truly breaks for Bobbie’s family !! Bobby was a one of a kind all around loving woman !! You will truly be missed by your loved ones and friends !! You no longer have to suffer !! You fought and fought hard now RIP and Please continue to watch over your babies Crystal,Tiffany and JonJon !! I love you Bobbie Jean 💜😇 See ya on the other side !!

So very sorry to hear about your loss. My condolence to you and your family. It will be so wonderful when death is no more. Rev.21:3,4. And see them again on Earth in the future. Acts 24:15; Psalms 37: 11, 29 . What a comfort to know that God does not cause death at this time. Ecclasiastes 9:11. And in God's kingdom, scripture," Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in Heaven, also on Earth ."Matthew 6:10 . Jesus will bring the dead back to life again on Earth and make a paradise here , in the future. Revelation 21:3,4 ; Isaiah 26:19; Psalms 37:11,29.
