Muriel Hicks Talbott, 82 of 881 Talbott Road, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday morning March 4, 2019 at Sovah Danville.  Born in Caswell County daughter of the late John Ross Hicks and Myrtie Church Hicks; in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of over sixty-three years H. Elmo Talbott; one son Kenneth Wayne Talbott; two brothers David Lee Hicks & Robert "Bobby" Hicks; one sister Pearl Gentry.  

Mrs. Talbott was a loving, devoted, proud and humble Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend; she retired from Caswell County School System with over twenty-six years of devoted service.  She was very active at the Caswell County Senior Center where she enjoyed being a member of the GAD-ABOUTS and also very active and involved with Meals on Wheels Program.  Mrs. Talbott was a lifelong member of Community Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons: Howell "Jack" Elmo Talbott,Jr. (Lisa) of Yanceyville; Chesley Talbott (Angie) of Yanceyville; special nephew Mike Talbott; five grandchildren: Jasa Talbott, Chelsea Talbott, Bailey Talbott, Noah Talbott, Jackson Talbott; four great-grandchildren: Jeremiah Talbott, William Talbott, Madilyn Talbott, Madison Durden; a special family friend: Terry Meers.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday March 9, 2019 at Blanch Baptist Church by the Rev. Keith Murray.  The family will receive friends after the service at the church and other times at the home.

Jan and I are so sorry for your loss. We are both praying for you all, and want to help in any way you may need! Please call on us, and know that Mrs. Muriel is with her Lord...AND with her earthly angel, Mr. Elmo! They were both truly special people, and loved by so many! May God bless you all.
