Helen Francis Wilson Ray, 81, of 1393 Yarboroughs Mill Rd., passed away peacefully Saturday evening, June 29, 2019.

Ms. Ray is survived by her three children: Patricia Anne Ray, Donna Ray Walker (Clyde), and Mark Edward Ray (Lawanda); six grandchildren: Joshua Terrell, Casey Hodges, Mindy Walker, Clyde "Trey" Walker, III, Brandi Ray, Nicholas Ray, many nieces and nephews and a very special friend Barbara "Barb” Cook.

Helen was born on April 3, 1938 in Caswell County, NC to the late Otis & Viola Wilson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters: Peggy Etchison, Lois Daniel, Vivian Saterfield; two brothers: William "Buddy" Wilson & David Wilson.  She began working on Shumaker's Dairy Farm and also for Caswell County Social Services, then later retiring from U. S. Postal Service.  She was of the Baptist Faith at Community Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir; she loved her church family.

All are welcomed to attend the Celebration & Remembrance Service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Community Baptist Church by Pastor Wayne Jones.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the church and other times at the home of her daughter Donna Walker,1394 Yarboroughs Mill Road, Milton, NC 27305.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May you find the comfort and strength our loving heavenly Father offers in response to your prayers. (Philippians 4:6, 7, 13). We look forward to the time when He eliminates all causes for sorrow (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3, 4).
